BI Analyst – FinOps

Job Description:
Location: This position requires the candidate to work onsite in Renton, WA, with some hybrid flexibility.  
 

We’re looking for a BI Analyst with FinOps experience to bring financial discipline and visibility to our enterprise AI spend. You’ll turn raw usage data into meaningful reporting, build dashboards business leaders can act on, and help the organization understand and optimize how it invests in AI.

• Turn raw AI usage data into clear, actionable financial reporting
• Build and maintain showback reporting for AI spend across the enterprise
• Partner with engineers to build attribution dashboards that map cost back to specific teams and use cases
• Arm business unit leaders with the spend data they need to manage their own budgets
• Supply business leaders with data to support ROI cases for continued or expanded AI investment
• Run utilization assessments, including analysis of usage trends (“run off” vs. “run up”)

• Extend or reimagine existing dashboarding (currently built in Grafana), proposing new reporting approaches where useful

• Background in FinOps, financial analysis, or business intelligence (BI)
• Experience building attribution/showback dashboards and cost reporting at enterprise scale
• Comfort working with large, complex usage datasets and turning them into a clear narrative
• Experience with BI/dashboarding tools; familiarity with Grafana a plus
• Strong cross-functional partnership skills — this role works closely with engineering and business unit leaders alike
• Rigorous, detail-oriented approach to data

Pay Range: $65.00 – $75.00 per hour, depending upon experience.
