Job Description/Skills:
This is a fully remote position.

What you will do
You will orchestrate delivery of a “re-imagined” self-service portal for Workforce Benefits business, which is a large scale, highly available, and complex cloud native solution that integrates with multiple systems.
You will define the technical specifications for complex domain problems and bring clarity to software engineers, so they can implement the required features with effective outcomes and experience. You are a key part of backlog refinement, prioritization, and engineering resource management.
You must be able to bring alignments between stakeholders, partner teams and engineering team members when dealing with conflicting priorities or ambiguous problems.
You will develop and manage project schedules in partnership with key team members, identify risks and clearly communicate them to project stakeholders, define problem solving and risk mitigation strategies, and facilitate conflict resolution through the full project cycle.
Responsibilities

  1. Drive cloud native solution development in complex insurance business domain
  2. Work with TPM partner, engineers, product owners, business analysts, and UX designers to deliver detailed and creative solutions to complex problems, while keeping a watchful eye on schedules and costs
  3. Create detailed specs and break down the features and user stories that software engineering teams can consume to implement the solutions
  4. Manage relations with cross-functional organizations and 3rd party software vendors
  5. Be an active participant of daily standups and scrum meetings – when required lead the meetings

Requirements and Qualifications

  1. Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science or related field
  2. 3+ years of program management experience including dealing with multiple teams across organizations
  3. Ability to develop detailed technical specifications
  4. Experience with Cloud services such as AWS/Azure/GCP and modern development stacks including Angular, SQL/NoSQL, and PowerBI/Tableau
  5. Familiarity with Big Data and AI/ML is a plus.
  6. While coding is not required, the ability to digest and advise on API request/response contracts and debug/troubleshoot technical issues is highly valued.
  7. Proven track record of delivering complex technology services in the Cloud
  8. Excellent organizational skills and project tracking abilities; strong focus and attention to detail; the ability to work in a very fast-paced, hectic, and energetic environment, yet able to maintain high quality standards; project/task prioritization and schedule development
  9. Ability to succeed and thrive in an entrepreneurial environment and not be hindered by ambiguity or competing priorities
  10. Demonstrated ability to influence and develop productive working relationships with resources and dependent teams
  11. Exceptional written and verbal communication, and comfortable presenting in large groups and handling high-pressure communication with senior management
  12. A proven track record for being detail-oriented with a demonstrated ability to self-motivate and follow-through on projects

Pay Range: $70.00 – $75.00 per hour, depending upon experience.
