HCM Business Analyst

This is a hybrid position that requires the candidate to be onsite in Seattle, WA, on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday and working from home on Monday and Friday.
Our client is embarking on a new project to transform their HR space through the design and implementation of a new cloud-based Human Capital Management (HCM) system.
Our client is looking for a smart, innovative business analyst with a strong background in HCM, ideally with hands-on UKG experience, who can help take their HR systems and processes to the next level. The successful candidate for this role will be responsible for partnering with our HR, IT, and System Integrator project team members to design, build, and implement the Talent Management subtrack of our HCM program that will deliver a world-class digital employee experience. This includes designing and delivering new solutions and supporting processes, ensuring compliance and business objectives are met, effectively collaborating with various stakeholders, and effectively executing change management plans.

- Gather, define and document requirements for HR Talent processes provided by business stakeholders
- Design application functionality to meet business requirements
- Record those requirements as user stories and acceptance criteria within Azure DevOps
- Participate in Quality Assurance testing and systems User Acceptance Testing
- Support the identification, research and resolution of software and process issues
- Assist with data conversion activities
- Assist the Organizational Change Management (OCM) team with communication, documentation and training for end users
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years of relevant Information Technology experience
- Hands-on experience implementing enterprise HR systems (preferably UKG or similar platforms)
- Understanding of and experience with HR Talent Management processes including Performance Management, Career Development, Leadership Development, Talent Assessment, Succession Planning, Recruiting, Onboarding, and Learning
- Advanced ability to translate business needs into functional requirements and IT product technical specifications (business requirement documents, functional requirement documents) as well as produce technical analysis documentation (process flow maps, test and implementation plans)
- Demonstrated experience partnering with subject matter experts and third parties to identify and recommend new HR solutions or improvements to existing solutions
- Experience designing and driving business process improvement workshops
- Proven ability to operate and effectively communicate while under pressure, as well as the ability to manage a diverse workload and work under time constraints with minimal supervision
- Team-first professional with strong oral and written communication skills, proficient in communicating technical topics to non-technical audiences
- Proficient in use of Microsoft Office365 tools such as Word, PowerPoint, Excel, OneNote, Teams and SharePoint

Pay Range: $50.00 – $60.00 per hour, depending upon experience.
