About the Position

The Sr. Solution Delivery Manager, IT is accountable for managing and prioritizing the needs of various business areas and ensuring the successful deployment of business and technical solutions for our client. This role includes overseeing the delivery of high-quality service to end users and ensuring support and delivery processes are in place to meet business needs. This position is a stakeholder-facing role and requires you to establish and manage expectations within the business and drive the IT Solution Delivery team to achieve those expectations to a high standard.


Essential Functions: Under the direction of the Director of Solution Delivery, the Manager, Solution Delivery has the responsibility and authority to:


  • Establishing and building relationships with business unit partner stakeholders and decision-makers.
  • Partners with various business units to define, source, implement and support new innovative business and technical solutions.
  • Ensures ongoing and consistent communications on business initiatives to ensure productive and collaborative organizational relationships.
  • Oversee and lead a team who will manage various complex initiatives from the point of concept to the implementation/rollout of food manufacturing technology products.
  • Duties include leadership of a team of Business Analysts who own and drive a variety of exciting growth technology initiatives for our client.
  • Builds organizational talent by creating a learning environment that ensures employees realize their highest potential.
  • Align food manufacturing business and technical solutions with the organization’s short and long-term goals, both tactical and strategic.
  • Maintain high-performance levels for service-related processes and implement improvement activities wherever necessary.

·      Take ownership of critical risks and issues, coordinate resolution with all constituents, and establish effective communication between stakeholders.

·      Develop, support, and improve solution delivery processes.

  • Drives strategic alignment by motivating cross-functional teams to drive innovative solutions that are scalable and ensure consistent food manufacturing business and technical solutions.
  • Develop strategic roadmaps in partnership with business stakeholders that align with enterprise technology strategy, plus manage the delivery of strategic initiatives.
  • Consistently stays abreast of any industry-wide technology changes and best practices.
  • Taking accountability for portfolio and project delivery performance, meeting end-users’ expectations, and driving future demand.
  • Serve as the liaison and orchestration between both internal and external service delivery partners.
  • Mentors’ other IT professionals

Supervisory Responsibilities

Carries out supervisory responsibilities by the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.


Education and/or Experience Requirements:


·      Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or equivalent

·      8+ years of progressive, relevant experience, with 3+ years minimum developing and managing staff. Food manufacturing experience preferred.

·      Experience in project lifecycle management preferred

·      Minimum one year of client relationship management experience

·      Minimum one year of vendor relationship management experience preferred
