Pay range of $64/hr to $74/hr DOE.

Job Description:

We are looking for an Android(preferably Xamarin) Developer who possesses a passion for pushing mobile technologies to the limits. This Android app developer will work with our team of talented engineers to design and build the next generation mobile application for our baggage handling team.

• ResponsibilitiesDesign and build advanced applications for the Android platform using Xamarin.Andriod
• Design and build backend api using .net core
• Collaborate with other engineers, product owners, UX designers and scrum master to define, design, test and ship new features
• Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability
• Work on bug fixing and improving application performance
• Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency

Requirements

• Must have:Proven software development experience and Android skills development
• Experience with automated app testing including testing complex systems with mock/generated data
• Strong software development skills, particularly in writing quality code using unit tests
• Strong C# .NET experience, particular in .NET Core/.NET 5

• Good to have:Working experience in Xamarin.Android (not Xamarin.Form)
• Understanding of Android Activity Lifecycle
• Working experience with cloud hosting, Azure preferred
• Relational DB experience – SQL, SQLite
• Agile & Scrum experience
