Technical Project Manager

Summary:

Our Client is looking for an experienced Technical Project Manager to lead multiple teams in a dynamic, complex work environment. The successful candidate will have a strong work ethic, a great sense of humor, and an innate ability to follow through.

Responsibilities:

  • Facilitating all agile ceremonies humorously and efficiently to help teams realize value from each meeting
  • Building a trusting and safe environment where issues can be raised, addressed, and resolved directly, quickly, and amicably
  • Pro-actively managing any risks or dependencies to ensure they are as least impactful as possible, through increased visibility and well thought through mitigations
  • Removing any and all impediments which are impacting individuals, teams, or environments
  • Guiding teams deeper into any agile philosophies that will help them achieve their objectives better
  • Bolstering an environment that empowers and energizes each team member, with a focus on accountability and collaboration
  • Shielding the teams from outside distractions and other interferences
  • Understanding the “why” behind any requests of yourself or the team(s)
  • Communicating clearly and effectively to improve transparency and radiate information
  • Collaborating with the current SCRUM Master, Product Manager, acting Product Owners to produce thoughtful metrics and data visualizations

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience leading teams
  • Solid understanding of situational awareness, conflict resolution, empowerment, and accountability
  • Excellent customer focus, combined with exceptional interpersonal skills who is able to work just as effectively with people online (in meetings) as in person
  • Knowledge of the SDLC, and have been through several full release cycles, including deployments
  • Firm grasp of technical basics (architecture, web services); achieved through program/project managing technical teams successfully
  • Strong attention to detail and an innate love of both people and problem-solving
